Other games which use gamepads just dont respond at all to button presses and I end up force closing the game with the overlay.
The only games ive got to run so far are the ones which use mouse and kb - portal 2 using default layout and cities skylines both work. Having the exact same issues on my machine Manjaro 15.09, kernel 4.3-rc4 at first I thought it was just my distro so tried it with and without steam runtime, no difference (this was after adding the udev rules to even get wireless working at all) but if you're running on Ubuntu which is supposed to be a supported distro must be something more to it.
